My question is, is it legal for some officers in Ontario to use their lights other than for emergency calls?
Hi Sean, At an intersection, are cyclists, including e-bikes and escooters, actually allowed to proceed on the walk signal when the overhead light is still red? Thanks.
Is it legal for a parking control officer to chalk my tires when I am parked in a 1 hr. spot. Also, if I park in the same spot overnight and display a handicap placard can I get a ticket. There is no signs stating NO Parking past a certain time. Only that the limit is 1hr
What’s the punishment for lane splitting and filtering on a motorcycle in Ontario
Hi Sean, you mentioned the police has 3 years to charge someone who's driving without insurance. I cant find the reference anywhere
I live in the country (Elora/Fergus). Often a stop sign is good 6-8 feet behind the white line. Stopping at the sign does not allow me to see left and right to ensure it is safe to cross, so I would have to stop at the line again in order to look left/right. Would you give me a ticket if I rolled through the sign and did a full stop at the line?
Can a person park car in the opposite to the traffic flow? Traffic goes south to north and the car park facing south, either park or park with driver inside waiting for passenger. I live on a street next to a GO station. Frequently people park their car facing the wrong direction to the flow of traffic while waiting for their passenger. 2: can a person park their car facing the wrong direction like above but in front of street post office community mail boxes to pick up their mail.
If you caught a stolen car will you bring it back to the owner or try to catch the thieves with it ?
Hi. An Amazon delivery driver hit my parked car today. Guy offered to pay. Showed me a picture of his license, produced expired insurance of a fleet car and now backed out and said he wasn't paying anything and I had to resolve. Other than report collssion and call my insurance, anything else. And does this guy get away with not carrying his license. Also will my insurance go up when my car was properly parked in my spot in the building? I have it all recorded
